These workshops are fun and intensive. They are 3 full days in the studio packed with all the information you need to start creating your own beautiful works of art in cold wax, dry pigments, and oil paints. You only need to bring yourself and a packed lunch.

You will be using a brayer/roller, squeegee, various drawing tools and other media to scratch, scrape and rub into and beneath the surface, this ancient medium fosters versatility. Its translucent qualities allow light to penetrate into the paint surface, emphasising rich and vibrant colour, depth and tone. We will look at composition with a focus on line, texture, shape and colour.

Texture, movement and fluidity can easily be achieved by manipulating the pigmented cold wax, oil paints, dry pigments and drawing materials. I will share techniques and tools used with this lush, sensual painting medium.

We will cover everything you need to get started on day one with an additional studio day to explore the wonders of cold wax mixed media and allow you more time to complete your projects. All skill levels welcome.
