When I painted “Yallingup Reef”, I wanted to bring the coastline to life – the way the waves move with such energy and grace, rolling in before crashing softly onto the sandy shore.

I can almost feel the warmth of the sand underfoot and hear the sound of the water meeting the shore as I look at it.

For me, this painting is more than a snapshot – it’s about that moment of connection, standing at the edge of the world and feeling completely in tune with it.
