You’re Making me Blush by Rebecca Warr

This is painting where layers have been built up with the use of a Catalyst Wedge. A teal hue has been juxtaposed with pale pink , magenta and navy, to create a sense of contrast. The use of the catalyst wedge has resulted in a subtle surface texture generating a sense of spontaneous movement. In amongst layers of painting, dot stencils have been spray painted on to add a little more visual variety and subtle pattern. I have titled this piece ‘You’re Making me Blush’ because of the dominant use of pink.
