GREY IV, GREY SERIES  – Contemporary  abstract painting by Bridget Bradley

Thanks for stopping by to view my fourth artwork in the Grey Series!

Intuitively painted, this mini abstract painting was influenced by my studies in psychology and colour psychology. As with all of the five paintings in the Grey series, the artwork is full of emotional energy as I capture my feelings in the creative moments while working on the piece.

The unique colour palette reflects my emotions about the colour. Grey hues and metallic silver highlights the neutral emotional aspect of the colour while the soft pastel pinks and lavender speak of a calming influence. Neon yellow and white give it vitality.

Similar to the other works, there are intricate layers of thick paint, creating beautiful imperfect patterns and textures on the canvas. Art lovers and collectors will be able to appreciate the textures and details even more, in person..This painting is extended out to the edges with intentional drips and marks.

It is intended to be without an external frame however, if you prefer to frame the work, I would suggest a black float frame for a modern and stylish aesthetic.
