Over the years, we have had many trips to South East Asia and one of the highlights, is discovering different foods and tropical fruits. My all time favourite is the purple Mangosteen. They are messy to peel and require a bit of patience but their complex sweet yet tangy flavour is well worth the effort. Mangosteens are known by the locals as ‘The Queen of Fruit.’
