Olive Gorge Stream is inspired by the quiet, earthy waterways that sit tucked between rock, rainforest, and slow-moving current. Olive green shallows drift into deeper, darker greens — the kind of natural gradient you see along untouched river bends and hidden gorges. Metallic, stone-like textures mark out the rocky edges, giving the piece a grounded, almost geological presence, as though you’re looking down from above at a landscape shaped gently over time.

There is a deep calmness to this work. The water appears still, untroubled by wind or movement, its surface carrying soft swirls of mossy green pigment that evoke the peaceful slide of freshwater over sand and stone. Along the edges, the rich dark greens of dense vegetation dissolve into the terrain, echoing the wildness of Australia’s forest waterways.
