I am fond of traveling and, on one occasion, while in Cuba, I witnessed how regular afternoon downpours were commonplace and almost a refreshing relief from the afternoon heat. The tourists were all under shelter, but the boy who was checking on the horses kept doing his job throughout the downpour. I found the scene compelling and took many photos which I then used to create this original oil painting.
