Inspired by all things big and small of the sea. Underwater blue, turquoise and aqua. Floating delicate aquatic and microscopic life. I wanted these paintings to be sublime and beautiful yet also have a feeling of fragility and vulnerability.

This painting has a brilliant blue and turquoise colour vibration and glows like a jewel on the wall. The light and colour create an otherworldly tranquillity, the perfect backdrop for the fragile fragments of nature and shell-like forms drifting across the surface.

‘I feel like I am gently floating like jelly-fish’ is a lovely comment I so often receive from this series. What I often enjoy about my paintings is they make people smile with a sense of wonderment and feelings of happiness’.

All paintings are varnished with Professional Quality Artists Varnish, once they have been photographed. This gives a protective surface and an exquisite sheen that really makes the colors powerful & eye-catching.

FRAMING IS NICE BUT NOT NECESSARY as the edges are cleaned, staple free and painted a rich black to compliment the painting. Painting is titled and signed verso and ready to hang with picture wire.
