These beautiful nodding flower heads always symbolise the gentle transition from Summer into Autumn in our old cottage garden. Self sown beyond their original flower border, they rise high above the garden beds and wave the Autumn in.

And so I painted this work as a signal of our seasonal garden with a loose bunch placed in a Vintage stemmed glass on an old striped tablecloth

The painting including Victorian Ash floating frame measures 53.8cm x 64cm and 5.5cm deep
