‘Bird Lover’ was inspired by the portraits of the Turkish illustration artist ‘Hulya Ozdemir’. Hulya’s portraits are very graphic and quite colourful. Her ladies have often very colourful dresses and backgrounds and usually very big hairstyles. The individuality of each of her women is emphasized in the pattern and details of her paintings. The ‘Bird Lover’ is my version of Hulya’s style. 

The ‘Bird Lover’ is an original mixed media water colour and acrylic painting on a 30cm x 42cm paper mounted on 40cm x 50cm x 0.5cm MDF board. It is sealed with 2 layers of gloss acrylic for protection. It is framed behind perspex with a simple white 43cm x 53cm generic frame.. This gives the buyer the ability to hang the painting right there and then or reframe it at a later stage with a frame of their choice. 

This size painting can be a start to build up your own collection of smaller sized pictures as they are affordable dynamic collectibles and will enrich your home or office for many years to come.
