Birds and Blooms No 8 – This is the next painting in my “Birds and Blooms” series. I have enjoyed creating this artwork so much that I intend to do several in the future. Mexican folk art is my inspiration for this bright colourful painting. This is another one done on wood panel board. I applied clear gesso to the board as I love the look of the raw wood grain rather than painting the background. Fortunately I have sourced several more boards with as much wood grain as possible. Do hope this painting brightens up your life as much it did mine in making it!

This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included. Sprayed with protective gloss varnish.
