Another in my Australian themed series. Each Australian state’s and territory’s floral emblem and just a touch of Golden Wattle, our national floral emblem. Must admit this one challenged me as I had to arrange the flowers and their foliage in such a way that they did not clash or blend into each other. To achieve this outcome I have arranged the flowers in the following order from top left in clockwise direction: Waratah (New South Wales), Sturt’s Desert Rose (Northern Territory), Kangaroo Paw (Western Australia), Pink Heath (Victoria), Royal Bluebell (Australian Capital Territory), Sturt’s Desert Pea (South Australia), Blue Gum (Tasmania), Cooktown Orchid (Queensland) and of course some sprigs of Wattle (Australian floral emblem.

Australian native flowers, State and national floral emblems. Vibrant, Colourful, Bright, Bold.

Artist quality acrylics used.
