The headland where I live is wild and rocky. I’m in awe when I walk these parts, looking at the colours, textures and sheer scale of the rocks. The colours change depending on the time of day, light and weather. The rocks glow warm and golden in the sunshine and take on a deep brooding feel in the rain. The day I painted this, it was sunny and the rocks felt warm and welcoming.
