This beautiful butterfly goes by the name of ‘Blue Common Buckeye’. It has a brilliant mix of blues, orange, black and brown colours. I painted it against the different shades of yellow gazanias, each flower is outlined with gold.

The sides of the canvas have been painted so it can be hung unframed or if you prefer you can frame it according to your choice after purchase. This original acrylic painting is sealed with a low gloss varnish and is ready to hang.
