Cateye sunglasses in pink afternoon light by Melody Smith – I don’t usually paint sunglasses but in this moment on a bright afternoon, the light through my curtains made the whole room glow in a beautiful pink light. Outside the light was blueish and bright. I am endlessly fascinated with the moods of different coloured light. This pink light seemed perfect for these vintage glasses.
