When I begin a new abstract piece, I’m never quite certain what will emerge. Throughout the process, a particular imagery begins to form in my mind. Is it a tree branch? A flower? A sky or a river? It could truly represent anything. It’s merely colors arranged in a certain way. Everyone can perceive what they feel. For me this serene and calming piece conjures images of a coral cay or reef, while also evoking the imagery of tree branches and spring blossom against a sky backdrop.
