Crimson Rosellas In Wattle by Lisa Dangerfield

This is another painting in my “Birds and Blooms” inspired series. Although Mexican folk art is my inspiration for these bright colourful paintings, in this instance I have once again given it a distinct Australian focus. The vibrant colours of the crimson rosella presented me with quite a challenge as I did not want to use the colours of the birds in the background. After much deliberation, trial and error I settled on bright yellow wattle blooms and Australian sky blue for the background. Just so happy with how the colours pop in this uplifting painting! I do hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included.

NB: I have made every effort to show the absolute exact colours of this artwork, however please be aware that there may be slight variances when viewed on different computer screens etc.

PLEASE NOTE: In the photos, where the painting is shown mounted on a wall, these are purely for illustrative purposes. You should review the dimension of the artwork to be sure the work suits your needs.

Quality acrylic on cradled wood panel, sprayed with protective satin varnish. Sides are painted the same as background of the painting. Ready to hang.
