Divine Island by Cathy Gilday -I was inspired to create this artwork as a result of photos I had taken in New Caledonia, years back, when on holiday.
When studying the images, I was excited to see how different the same little island looked, at different times of the day or in different weather conditions, so it inspired me to paint four interpretations, the last being semi abstract. The artworks are mounted and framed, total measurements are (W) 80cm x (H) 62cm x (D) 3cm.
