Dragonfly – This original acrylic painting of a Dragonfly is the result of an acrylic pour I had done some time ago. My painting studio is an out door studio in my back yard. Everything around me is an inspiration for my paintings. There are butterflies and birds, flowers and plants, and every now and then I can see a dragonfly hovering around nearby. Dragonflies can fly in any direction, including sideways and backward, and can hover in a single spot for a minute or more. So this one was photographed after landing on my large Philodendron plant.
