My intention in this piece was to have this bold green fellow, lurking in amongst the lily pads, semi submerged in water. To begin, I used a heavily textured canvas with an abstract background and just as things sometimes go, even with the best plans, I did have some challenges ( hence the title:) but was thrilled with the final result. ‘F’ is for frog, is a bold vibrant painting which would be great for nature lovers or a kiddies room.
