Flavours of Provence by Miranda Free –

Using a wallpaper design based around the botanicals found in the French gin Citadel as a backdrop, this still life was dramatically lit and surrounded by some of the fruits that flavour this version of the gin. Painted in oils this is a vibrant piece that will bring sunshine and joy into any room. This is the first in a planned series featuring gins and popular gin cocktails and the botanicals that flavour the gin. The variety and aesthetic appeal of the bottles of gin, together with the history and romance of many gin cocktails provided the inspiration for this series (nothing to do with my predilection for a fine gin cocktail at all!)
