Dried Agapanthus by Miranda Lloyd – This is a version of my Dried Agapanthus painting in a night setting. Inspired by my own garden. Once the flowers have bloomed and dried I like to take off the seeds and place them in vases in my home. I will also do some versions of Agapanthus flowering but initially I liked the simple design of this painting as I loved the background so much I didn’t want to over do it. The background base is black with splashes of metallic golds, silver, greeny blues, greens, turquoise, pinks, deep blues and white. Background has my signature textures too. A classic black and white contemporary piece with vibrant splashes of colour.
