GREY V, GREY SERIES – Contemporary mini abstract painting by Bridget Bradley

Thanks for stopping by to view the last of my abstract paintings in the Grey Series!

This original mini was an interesting exploration of the colour grey, its meaning and  psychological effects, in particular my own emotional response to the colour while painting. One of my favourites in the series, it has loads of texture and various interesting patterns, created my various layering techniques.

The colour palette is visually interesting textures and imperfect patterns with many layers of paint in grey hues, white, pink, black and metallic silver that gives the painting a layer of sophistication and a modern vibe.

Painted to the edges it looks striking as it is, a small painting with great vibe and big impact. Framing is an option and I suggest a black float frame would work well.
