Gum Swamp is an area that I visit often. At different times of the year it teems with visiting bird life, water birds and woodland birds in the adjacent woodland forest. Gum Swamp is a haven for bird watchers and people just wanting to relate to or be immersed in nature. This painting strives to show the peace of the area but also the vitality of the environment.
