Australian flora always inspired my art as it is everywhere around me. I love to paint the leaves and Gum flowers of the Australian eucalyptus trees with their many different shapes and colours. For this painting I collected a bunch of fresh gum leaves with their red gum flowers from my backyard and laid them out in front of me. 

This original watercolour painting of ‘I Love Gum Flowers’ is painted on an A3 size, 300g cold pressed watercolour paper. It is protected by a layer of acrylic satin varnish. This painting is mounted on a 40xm x 50cm MDF board, framed and ready to hang.  

Why collecting small art?
