“I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” Ltd Ed Print 2/25 by Miranda Free

This piece was inspired by Wordsworth’s famous lyric poem of the same name, also commonly known as Daffodils. It was in response to an exhibition about new beginnings, and daffodils represent rebirth and new beginnings as they are one of the first flowers of spring. I am also inspired by Van Gogh and wanted to explore using impasto techniques so much of the painting has been created using palette knives.
The bright field of daffodils are seen as if lying back enjoying a warm sunny spring day and would create a feeling of happiness and relaxation in your home.

This is a 30 x 30 cm square limited edition print No 2/25.

This is a high quality giclée print on Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm paper packed with a stiff cardboard backing in a cellophane sleeve.
