In this painting, I have re-visiting my series called ‘Seeing stars,’ where I explore the universe on canvas. On this occasion, I have collaged 9 small canvases onto the main canvas. This not only adds to the texture, but also, adds an to the interesting element to the piece. I have used multiple layers of coloured glazes to create the star formations, dust clouds and the bright patches of luminous matter, against the dark sky. Sides are painted, sealed with UV protective varnish and ready to hang.
