Another rejected Archibald Prize portrait, this one of the mega talented, outrageously assured and flamboyant Jumoke Debayo, singer, actress, curator, a living icon, just look her up you wont be disappointed!

Chris meet Jumoke in her antique and collectables shop in Sydney, and the two hit it off, resulting in Chris asking Jumoke to sit for him. This was well before he knew exactly who Jumoke was; Jumoke has one of those personalities as an artist you have to try and capture.

Painted almost in one sitting from my drawings and photos on Christmas day 2010, what a wonderful present!
