‘Katrina’ by Somrita Watford was inspired from a picture of a bride I saw online. I was drawn to the beautiful face and the rich curls so I set out to make my own version of a beautiful lady all dressed up for a special occasion. It is a combination of acrylic paint and the use of impasto to create a three dimensional effect for the flowers and ear ring. The hair is done in shades of black and browns which is more visible in real life than in the photos (The last photo is purposely overexposed to show the hair which is not very visible in the other photos)

The sides of the canvas have been painted so it can be hung unframed or if you prefer you can frame it according to your choice of frame after purchase. This original acrylic painting is sealed with a low gloss varnish and is ready to hang.
