Lace Up by Lisa Dangerfield – I don’t know how this idea came to me, perhaps a vague memory of the film or the novel “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”.

A workman’s boots, an elegant lady’s boots and a blue lace shawl draped over the Newel post at the foot of the stairs. A lace garment hurriedly discarded on the way upstairs. I wonder what goes on? Well you may ask, a little cheeky methinks!

So pleased I was able to convert my idea to this image on canvas. I hope you enjoy this quirky painting as much as I enjoyed creating it.

This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included.
