‘Landscape Reimagined’ by Ian Burgess.

The idea for this painting has dwelled in my subconscious for quite a while now and has finally come to fruition. The weaving of overlapping, abstracted horizons and colour relationships dominate this work from top to bottom. I hope to spread some joy with this painting in my use of saturated colours contrasting with more subtle hues coupled with a semi abstract landscape vibe.

This painting is created using thick layers of paint and glazing thin veils of translucent colour to only partially cover the previous layer so retaining its integrity.
