Additional Information

Movie Title – Driving Miss Daisy by Lisa Dangerfield – This is another painting in my “Movie Title” inspired series. This body of work includes my quirky depictions of movie titles. I’ve been working and developing this idea for quite a while and have successfully converted my ideas to images on canvas.

I have replaced images of the actual characters and stars in the movies with birds, plants, animals, silhouettes etc for this series. I had so much fun exploring all the possibilities and challenges to create each individual painting in this series. I have already created 10 and hope to add more to the series in time. I am thoroughly enjoying indulging my inner artistic self and you never know who just might fall in love with one!

On this occasion I have done a stylised lanscape background. I then added a magpie to represent the driver Hoke Colburn and a daisy flower to represent Miss Daisy Werthan. I am absolutely thrilled with it! I hope this painting brightens up your life as much it did mine in making it!

This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included. Sides are painted white. Sprayed with protective varnish.

NB. I have made every effort to show the absolute exact colours of this artwork, however please be aware that there may be slight variances when viewed on different computer screens etc.

PLEASE NOTE: This painting is on stretched canvas and is NOT framed. In the photos, where the painting is shown mounted on a wall, I have added frames to give you an idea as to how it would look framed, these are purely for illustrative purposes. You should review the dimension of the artwork to be sure the work suits your needs.
