‘Noisy Rainbow Lorikeets’ by Marta Blaszak was inspired by the vibrant birdlife around the lake of Forest Lake. The Rainbow Lorikeet is a distinctive sight featuring a captivating blue head and belly, while their wings, tail, and back show a lush green colours. A delightful touch of orange and yellow graces their breast, further enhancing their beauty. These chirpy birds are boisterous and swift-moving, filling the air with their noisy calls.

‘Noisy Rainbow Lorikeets‘ is mixed media of acrylic and watercolour on a 16.5cm round composite disc. It has been protected with three layers of gloss varnish to bring out the bright colours. It can be displayed free standing and has a hanging wire across the back. A small display easel is also provided for displaying it on a shelf.
