Owl Selfie features a cheeky barn owl, peeking in from the side of the canvas.  Once completed, it seemed to me that this little owl was attempting to get a flattering angle – hence the tongue in cheek title ‘Owl Selfie’.

The canvas is brightly coloured and highly patterned – a signature of my painting style.  A close inspection reveals many patterned details and provides a more complex viewing experience than it first appears.

This artwork measures 61 x 61cms and is painted on thick, stretched canvas.  All the edges have been painted, giving a neat, professional finish.  The painting is varnished and ready to hang.
