‘Paradigm’ by Ian Burgess –  is the embodiment of how I like to consider and construct my vision of the excitement and the joy of colour. The intuitive nature of my work and its initial random appearance belies the fact that I work very slowly building up layers of colour and textures, covering some areas with opaque paint to create stronger forms and other areas left with transparency to reveal an underlying beauty.

The main palette of pinks, purples and blue and using a darker, more heavy approach  that satisfies my continuing quest to produce a painting with movement and energy in which the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
