Peacock Feather fine art photography diptych by Bernadette Meyers

I’ve always been transfixed by the intricate and delicate beauty of feathers. For many years, we kept chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and peafowl. The peahen’s feathers have a subdued beauty of their own, but everyone loves a peacock tail plume.

The males shed their train feathers twice yearly and I would collect every dropped feather from our 27acre property. I still treasure them all these years later. These feathers were from our handsome Mr Wickham. He liked to fan his tail and show off in front of the windows of my art studio – admiring his reflection.

Fine art photography limited edition print. Edition of 25 impressions. Signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
