My latest addition to my “Flora & Fauna” series where I depicted the flora (poppies) using conventional brush strokes in vivid yellow hues and the fauna (cockerel/rooster) using detailed pointillism with hints of iridescent green and gold in the feathers against a bright blue background . This painting has taken many hours to complete and had created a dilemma as to what colour I should paint the poppies…red…white….yellow???  I am absolutely thrilled with my decision to make them yellow (Californian poppies perhaps!) and I’m quite sure that it will give it’s buyer as much pleasure as it has given me to create it.

I have made every effort to show the absolute exact colours of this artwork, however please be aware that there may be slight variances when viewed on different computer screens etc.

Quality acrylic paint on stretched canvas, sprayed with protective gloss varnish.  The sides are painted the same colour as the background. Ready to hang.

This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included.
