Primal Vision by Cathy Gilday – This semi abstract painting was inspired by my fascination with apes and monkeys. Over the years, I have taken so many images of these amazing animals, when visiting zoos while traveling. I am intrigued with how they relate with each other and also how they interact with their onlookers. I can’t help but wonder what they are thinking as at times, they appear to be just as curious of their audience, as we are with them. Artist quality paint and mediums, sealed with 2 coats of protective varnish.
