This Rainbow Lorikeet by Marta Blaszak is an original watercolour painting using quality paints on 300gsm paper. The size of the painting is 33.5cm wide x 23cm high, and it is framed with a dark coloured modern timber frame 43cm wide x 33cm high. It is protected by glass with 2 D-Rings and hanging wire attached to the back.

I love to paint all things to do with nature, including the birds that live around us. The extremely colourful and noisy Rainbow Lorikeets are found everywhere in our local park and they behave as if they own the place! They even visit us on our verandah every now and then, waiting to be fed. This Lorikeet is one of the few watercolour paintings from me as I usually paint in acrylic, but every now and then I challenge myself by working with this difficult medium
