Rockpool I, is the first of the original Rockpool paintings, a small series, created after my trip to Melbourne and later along the coastline of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia, an experience ever etched in my mind.

This work captures the essence of the amplified feelings, colours, and connection to nature that I experienced when looking into the rockpools. My expressions were spontaneous, using my unique style and intricate layering of paint to create beautiful eye-catching patterns, loads of different textures with contrasting colours in black, white, pink and aqua. The varying textures provide a depth to the painting that is even more visible and tactile when viewing the artwork in person.

Offered without an external frame, Rockpool I is painted with black on edges which adds visual impact on any wall. Framing is optional. If you have a keen sense of style, I suggest a black float frame to give this modern abstract an edgy vibe.
