Rockpool III, the third original artpiece in this Rockpool series, inspired by a journey along the coastline of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. This painting further expresses my experience of the natural beauty of the rock pools full of ocean life as light hit the surface of the water which I have expressed with patterns and varied textures. Vibrant pink and mauve flowers seen on nearby oceanside hills are captured on the canvas.

In person, the detailed, intricate patterns, textures and details of the artwork take on a new dimension. Painted to the edges in black with colourful drips and marks allowing it to hang without an external frame. If you prefer to frame this piece, I suggest a black float frame which is particularly stylish.
