Rocky Beach by Marta Blaszak .This specific original acrylic painting is experimental and started as an acrylic pour in the darker colours of wet pebbles. To emphasis that the stones are wet, I have added the two red starfish onto the wet shore pebbles.

Many of my paintings have been inspired by nature as I always found natural shapes and textures challenging to recreate. This painting with two red starfish on a rocky shore was inspired by a visit to the underwater world in Mooloolaba, QLD.  Starfish, or sea stars, are marine animals  normally live on the seafloors or on coral reefs, but are sometimes washed up onto the shore. Most of the starfish have five arms.

This is an original acrylic painting on 15cm x 20cm acrylic paper protected with a white mat under glass and framed with a modern 22cm x 28cm black timber frame. It has 2D-Rings and hanging wire across the back and is ready for hanging.
