The camera allows us to view the world in a way that our eyes don’t naturally see. I’m always looking for ways to express the mood and atmosphere of a subject rather than document it too realistically. By defocusing the lens, I’m able to capture the colour and feel of the subject without making the image representational.

Circles to me symbolise perfection, completeness, unity, love, wholeness and timelessness. I want to create a picture that you can get lost in.
