Silence Speaks by Cathy Gilday – This painting is an expression of quiet internal thoughts. A large piece, painted slowly over a period of time. I have built up many layers of coloured glazes, which are sometimes a little difficult to capture in photos. My intention was to express quiet moments in time when the spoken word is spared. The painting has a softness about it, with no hard lines or defined detail. All quality paints, mediums and varnish used on stretched canvas, ready to hang as is.
