It started with visiting the local Koala Park with an overseas visitor. She really wanted to take one of those lovely animals back to Europe. As she couldn’t take the real thing, we decided that a painting of a Koala would be a replacement for it. I did two different versions and as her space in her suitcase was restricted she decided on the smaller version. Now somebody else can be so lucky and own the second larger version of this lovely animal.

This sleepy little fellow is painted using acrylic paint on 30cm x 43cm gessoed MDF board and framed with a 43cm x 53cm modern black frame
