Spotted Pardalote is a limited edition print of an  original acrylic painting by Michelle Gilks.  The spotted pardalote is one of Australia’s tiniest birds, but arguably one of it’s prettiest.  The intricate details on the feathers and distinctive white diamond-like spots on the birds back proved a painting treat for this artist!

The multi layered nature of this artwork reveals tiny details and unique marks that add complexity to the image.   Many layers of brush strokes, mark making and stenciling are built up over time.
