One of my favourite ways to spend a late afternoon is being mesmerised by the underwater world of tidal rock pools. It’s amazing how you can be looking for quite a long time before your eyes tune into the space. Once you spot the first starfish, suddenly, you see them everywhere.

This is a double plate etching, the first printing was the layer with the watery marks and I inked the second plate with gold for the starfish.

Etching ink on 300gsm Hahnemuhle archival paper. 18/100
