Sunflowers and Stripes by Cathy Gilday – This is the third painting in my new series, where I have purposely left blank stripes on the page and then used ink to continue drawing in the design. It was inspired by sunflowers that I received from my daughters, which for me, are the happiest of flowers! It is colourful and contemporary. I have used artist quality paints, mediums and archival heavy paper. Artwork is signed front and back but will require framing.
