Swans In The Mist – Inspiration for this painting came from a photo that my friend sent me. Her home was situated on the edge of a lagoon on the south coast. This is the scene that greeted her one misty morning as she sipped her coffee and enjoyed the scene from her balcony.

I did the background by dabbing many layers of paint using a natural sponges, then did the swans, trees & waves using size # 0-3 brushes in pointillism and finally applied a very light layer of white wash over the entire painting to achieve the misty look.

This painting is signed on the front and a laminated, numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Quality acrylic paint on canvas panel in 3 cm wide gold frame with 4.5 cm black mat. Overall measurement is 45 x 40 cm including the frame.

Sprayed with a coat of satin semi gloss protective varnish.
