The Brisbane River by Alicia Gilchrist

Brisbane is my second home. I lived here for seven years and just recently moved back here. I also met my husband here. The river has a special meaning for both of us as he proposed on it and we lived on it in our first house together in Toowong. I also studied at QUT (GP), which is right next to the river. I love the shape of the river and feel the colours in this painting reflect the feel of Brisbane.

Ready to hang with d-rings and hanging wire. Unframed. The painting wraps around the sides so a frame is optional. An original painting. Signed in the lower left hand corner ‘A. Gilchrist’. Protected with a matte spray varnish.
